BC Milk Producers Association (BCMPA) is the voice of all dairy farmers in British Columbia. We are advocates with governments, the media, special interest groups, environmentalists and other industry associations. Our purpose is to advance the legitimate business interest of this province's dairy farmers and to promote a vibrant and sustainable industry that supplies only the best quality milk and milk products to our consumers.
We are also strong believers in moving the dairy industry forward and leading the way to new innovations and developments. We invest highly in education and research to improve and lead the way in a strong and vibrant dairy industry. The Dairy Pro Apprenticeship program is one of our initiatives to allow British Columbia's dairy industry to continue to produce high quality milk.
We work alongside the BC Dairy Foundation whose role is to promote and educate the public on fluid milk, nutrition, and healthy living. As well we support and work closely with the Dairy Farmers of Canada whose role is to deal with national dairy issues including policy, lobbying and trade, and market development for industrial products.
